Default Outlook 2007 Beta 2 Crashing when starting

When I open Outlook 2007 it crashes it says 'not responding' in Windows Task
Manager. I close it thru' the Task Manager. I try to open the program again
it advises me that it is opeing in Safe Mode. I have only been able to open
the program once, it was in safe mode. All other attempts to open the
program has resulted in the program not responding than it will go thru' the
'Detect and Repair' or 'opening in safe mode' process but will not open.
Is this a known problem? Please advise on how I can fix it. Thank you!!!

I'd probably reformat your test platform (or reimage) and start again.

Default Outlook 2007 Beta 2 Crashing when starting

My problem is shortly after starting Outlook 2007 Beta, the system message
reads

"The data file "Archive Folders" was not closed properly."

A short while later, an error report reads:

"Business Contact Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience."

Detect and repir didn't help.

Now I cannot access my mail altogether without Outlook.

I am desperate. Any help?

Hello essy,

Do you get that same behavior every time you try to start Outlook? Have
you tried rebooting your system and then restarting Outlook?

This is a good example of why you don't want to use Beta software on mail
folders that are going to cause you great distress if there is a problem.
