opened messages
 

Hi Everyone,

I sometimes receive advertisements from companies such as Best Buy or
Circuit City and have created a folder called Sales and Specials in
which I store these type of things for a short time. My question is
this - I usually open these emails in the in box when they arrive and
if they are something I might like to look at later etc., I right
click and choose move to folder and move them to the above mention
folder. If I switch to this folder later I've noticed that some of
these messages show as unread even though I've opened and read them
while they were in the in box before moving to the folder - why is
this? I'm running outlook 2002 (Internet mail). I've no rules set up
for these etc. Thanks for your help
