How to create two mailboxes in outlook 2003?
I used Tools-Email-Accounts to create a second mailbox. I could
confirm that the new mailbox was created. However, when I try to expand the icon to see the folders, it throws me an error "unable to expand the folder." The second mailbox was supposed to be from a different domain. The primary mailbox is still operational. How do I set up outlook to receive email into the second mail box? Thanks for your help |

Yes, to add a mailbox as a secondary mailbox, you need Full Control access to the mailbox, set it in ADU&C, or at least Folder Visible permission, set in Outlook, on all folders including the mailbox root.

Directory Users and Computer? Yes. The network administrator needs to set the mailbox permissions with that tool. or at least Folder Visible permission, Can you clarify this? Look at the Properties dialog of the folder, in Outlook, to see the folder-level permissions for the folder. But you don't need to do that if the user account already has Full Control on the mailbox. In ADU&C, user = mailbox, if the user account is mail-enabled. On the Exchange Advanced tab of a mail-enabled user, you should see a button for Mailbox Rights. That is what you use to grant "Full mailbox access" permission to another user.

Thank you Sue for your help. I was able to make it work by granting
everyone access to the newly created second mailbox. I was working with two different domains hosted on the same server. Thanks once again.
