Outlook 2003 and Windows Messenger
I use a machine at home and a machine at work. I leave both running all the
time. I have Windows Messenger running on both, and Outlook 2003 on both. My home machine always hijacks Windows Messenger whenever it does a Send/Receive. I downloaded the ORK and used the Group Policy editor to turn off every Windows Messenger-related item I could see, but no luck. To be honest, I don't care if Windows Messenger is *at all* connected with my Office 2003 installation. I only use it for instant messaging with a few people. But I can't get it to stop! Anyone have a clue? -- TIA, Kevin Spencer Microsoft MVP Professional Chicken Salad Alchemist I recycle. I send everything back to the planet it came from. |

Thanks Diane,
Yes, it logs me off at work. What exactly do you mean by "disable autologon at home?" "autologon" to what? From what application? In what way is this supposed to be done? -- Kevin Spencer Microsoft MVP Professional Chicken Salad Alchemist I recycle. I send everything back to the planet it came from.
