how do i add email sender as a contact without creting a new contact
manually?

in o/express it's just: right-click add sender

add to addressbook?
 

Same with Outlook.
Since Outlook does not use and address book, you would, of course, add to
your Contacts.

In Outlook it's right-click Add to Contacts.
