How do I send a fax with GFI Fax maker without having to open up a new Outlook Contact?
Im doing some testing with the GFI Fax Maker before we introduce it to
our company. But I cant find anyway to send a fax without having to open up a new Outlook Contact. I've tried [fax:nnn-nnnn] even [fax:nnn-nnnn] but still no faxes are going through. Please can somebody advise??!! |

Which means I still need a contact. |

Sending to [fax:nnn-nnnn] is not the same as sending to . Outlook should recognize as a valid email address.

You need to set up the routing to the fax server properly. It's in the documentation. I never heard of FAXmaker before you mentioned it, but a quick perusal (about 15 minutes) of the docs indicates to me that that is completely independent of Outlook and completely dependent on your domain name service and mail routers. -- Brian Tillman |
