There is a conflict between Word and Outlook that really "bugs" me. If
Outlook is running Word will not run correctly. I hate having to shut down Outlook in order to use Word. For what it is worth, I can make the window smaller [minimize] but when Word is as big as it can get, there is space between the top edge of the window and the top of the display and the bottom of the window is out of sight at the bottom of the display. If you click & hold on the blue band on the top of the window, you cannot drag it up, down, or sideways; it is as if it is frozen. The only way to be able to get Word maximized and centered so it can be used is to shut down Outlook. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? -- FrankO |

Have you upgraded your installation with all relevant Office patches and
Service Packs? I have never seen this problem and have been using Word 2003 and Outlook 2003 quite nicely for several years. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Are you using Word as your Outlook mail editor? Tools Options Mail Format
tab - Top section - uncheck Use Word 2003 to edit and read messages See if this helps. I had problems with Outlook and Work until I untied them this way "FrankO" wrote in message ...
