My wife and I have Outlook 2003 and have a simple home network.

Can we share each others Contacts and Calendar?

Regards

A $100US per person. Far too expensive for home use.

Hi Doug,

On this site is an article on various ways to share Outlook data:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...477571033.aspx

ZDNet UK recommend this tool:
http://reviews.zdnet.co.uk/software/...0004529,00.htm

~100US$ for 2 Computers but nothing is for less. Also death costs the life.

The tools have varying prices - and you often "get what you pay for" (so the
free or cheapest tools aren't always less expensive in the end). They all
have free trials so you can test them out before purchasing.

If you don't both want Outlook open at the same time, yes. Put the PST in a
network share and add it to a mail profile on each machine. As long as
Outlook is open on one machine only, it should work, albeit unsupported.
You may find rules problematic as well.

Outlook doesn't allow to share items with several users without using
Microsoft Exchange Server. But it can be done using a sync software (which
will synchronize the changes in the items with other computers or users, for
example MAPILab Share'n'Sync http://www.mapilab.com/groupware/share_sync/)
or using a software which works like Microsoft Exchange Server and allows to
use one PST file on the several computers (for example MAPILab Groupware
Server http://www.mapilab.com/groupware/server/).

With a simple home network the MAPILab Groupware Server is more comfortable
solution.
