Outlook Express- empty *.dbx files;(
 

Hello
Recently my OE compacted my folders. I restarted then my computer and now
almost all my folder i OE are empty;( And what's even more strange *.dbx
files are also empty;( It' means there have about 50 MB each so there
schould be something in them, but it looks like there would be only spaces!!
If you have any idea how to get back my mails PLEASE HELP!

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups). The links under the newsgroup
references are for use with MS's web newsreader (not exactly the best way to
post but it works for some people)

Wrong newsgroup but look at one of the extraction programs to recover any
messages in the files. If they don't recover anything then there aren't
messages there. dbxtract, Outlook Express Attachment Extractor, etc
.............. A web search will bring up names, etc.
