my outlook keeps crashing

i just installed outlook 2002 so i can sync my dell palm first error message
is "unable to open your default e-mail folders" then "unable to start
processing services" then AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 10.0.6626.0
ModName: outllib.dll
ModVer: 10.0.6515.0 Offset: 00268e5d

Did you configure a mail profile in Control Panel's Mail applet?
