Outlook 2003 outbox delaying sending messages, can't delete message
 

Outlook 2003 outbox is holding messages too long, cannot delete one
message in outbox, no matter what I try. Had to reboot to get it to
send messages.

To get the message out of the Outbox, click FIle, check "Work Offline", then
stop and restart Outlook. You should be able to delete the message. Then
uncheck "Work Offline" and stop and restart Outlook.

Thanks, but that didn't work. See new posting. I have to close
Outlook and then reopen to get it to send messages.

What didn't work about it? Do you mean you couldn't delete the stuck
message following the instructions?
