Outlook 2003 email problem

I switched from Thunderbird to Outlook 2003 for email. I can send
but not receive.
I changed the default email client to outlook but to no avail. I
can still receive email in TBird.

Hi DL,
It sends the test email but it does not receive it. If I open OE
or TBird it will receive the test email there.

So, using the test account process in the resulting window it shows that the
msg has been sent and is being received?
And, have to ask, you have your other email clients closed whilst you are
doing this? You also leave OL running for some minutes, then force a
send/receive?

I'm not sure how but I fixed the email problem. I fooled around
with the "Check Group" settings and now it works.
Thanks for your time and patience.

Multi post is when you post a msg to several newsgroups as individual posts.
Peoples can only see replies to the individual post.
If you cross post, ie enter each ng address seperated by ';' without the ''
, in the one post, any replies can be seen in all the groups posted to
