Send button??
I am using Office 2007 b2 Tech Refresh and have to say that generally i love
it, i cant imagine going back. BUT.......... One thing in the TR of Outlook... the SEND button on msgs. It looks SO out of place now next to the address fields. I guess it is for people who have the ribbon minimized? So put it on the quick command bar, better. It looks terrible where it is now. Especially if you have Outlook messages set to show the From and BCC fields. You wind up with this big empty spot on the window under the send/account buttons, and it looks really really bad. It would look a lot better on the quick command, and plus there is the CTRL+ENTER key command to send messages too, if the ribbon is minimized. Stuck next to the addresses, it looks like one of the programmers was bored one day and decided to move it just to have something to do. It could at least have been made to look a _little_ nicer if the send button was set to use Anchoring like winforms controls can do in .NET apps, so it was anchored top and bottom, so that if the other address lines (From BCC) are shown, it still fills up the whole space. and doesnt leave empty real-estate. That makes it look extra bad. Otherwise, keep up the great work! Arthur Dent. |
