Folders disappeared

I have 2 folders in Outlook that I created, sub folders to my hotmail
account, and they have disappeared from view. They are to store messages-so
I checked whether they had been archived, but this does not appear to be the
case.
Any help gratefully received.

Can you see them using Hotmail's web interface? What version of Outlook?
Are you using the Outlook Connector?

Hi Brian,
I am using Office Standard edition for students/teachers-if this answers the
question on version. I can view the folders on the Hotmail site itself, and
this morning they are happily there in Outlook.
Could it be anything to do with the frequency with which I access these
folders-which may only be once a week?
Thanks,
Jenny

I don't see how the frequency of access would have any bearing. I can't
think off-hand of what may have caused the effect you saw.
