Archiving just will not work for me.
I want to be able to archive ALL my mail messages received in 2000 (my mail
file is 3 GB in size). It would seem that nothing that I try will work. Each time I attempt this nothing is archived and all the mail messages remain in the mail file. Can someone tell me what I need to do to do this? Peter |

you can do it manually rather than using Autoarchive:
if you don't have an Archive folder yet, make one (File | New | Outlook Data File and put it where you want it) Make a destination folder in the Archive.pst folder (it should show in your Folder List view). Select and drag the emails into the destination folder.
