Here's one for all you Outlook techheads. When i open a new mail and
attach a Word doc, it appears in the main payne, where the body of the text is. If i reply to a mail and add an attachment it appears in it's own field at the top of the mail window, under the BCC field. The reason i ask this as mail i send to folk with an attachment in the main payne do not get them. But if i reply to a mail they get them, doh. |

Here's one for all you Outlook techheads. When i open a new mail and attach a Word doc, it appears in the main payne, where the body of the text is. Are you using "Rich-Text" as outlook format? In this format attachments appearing in the body of the mail. Change the mail format to "HTML" or "Plain Text". Tools | Options | E-Mail-Format If i reply to a mail and add an attachment it appears in it's own field at the top of the mail window, under the BCC field. When you're answering to an e-mail, Outlook always uses the format in which the original mail was composed, so that - in case, the original-mail was created in "HTML" resp. "Plain-Text" - the attachment appears under the BCC-field. -- Best Regards Christian Goeller |
