Here's a weird one,
OL2k3 contacts (view- address cards) shows display name, address (on single
line), etc. If I edit a contact the address field is blank!
If I change to detailed card view addresses disappear. Reverting to card
view they're back as before.
If, in edit, I enter an address in the box, the card view shows the address
on multiple lines (as entered).

It would be a pain to go through every contact and retype the address, so
has anyone any idea/clue as to what is wrong, and maybe how to correct it?

Russ,
by 'resetting' I assume you mean F5, if so - yes. If not I did say that I
have changed the view to detailed and what happens then.

Reset it to the default (or start Outlook with the /cleanviews switch). If
that doesn't work, repair your file.

Thanks, anyway, Russ

Nothing worked, so I've just edited 150 contacts to restore to *** address
fields.

Ick. Any idea what cause this? Importing Contacts and synchronizing Contacts
seem to be the two most common causes.
