I have desktop notifications (mail alert) set to appear with sound whenever
a mail is received, however for some reason they don't appear, I know this because when I do a manual send receive mail appears with a timestamp that should have appeared as a desktop notification. Please could you help me to set up this feature correctly OL2003 |

Are you using POP or IMAP - I don't think you can set this up for an IMAP
