Distribution list?

Using Outlook 2002

Is it possible to send the same email to more than one person without
creating a distribution list? I know I could send multiple emails that are
the same. But lets say I want to send to just 5 people at the same time.
And I don't want to copy and paste 5 addresses from my contact list. Seems
like there should be an eaiser way than creating a distribution list
everytime.

You can send to as many recipients as you want. What makes you think you
have to use a DL? What is your question?

Distribution list?

My question is if I have a folder with 300 contacts listed and I want to
send to only ten of them how can I do it without having to copy and paste
each individual email address to the "To..." line or "Cc..." line of the
email I am going to send?

Is there a way to highlight them in the folder and have the listed
automatically?

or - use categories and group by categories, select the members of a
category and use the actions, send new mail to command.

Use the address book to get the contacts, now if you have already sent a
mail before any time to one of the contacts typing the first letter of the
E-mail address should bring you the auto complete address list (I believe
its from Outlook 2002 onwards).
Hope this helps you.

On the new email message, click the "To:" button in the header. When the
address list appears, control+click the names you want to highlight them,
click the "To -" button, then click OK.

better yet:

Start in the Contacts folder

You can select a whole Category
You can ctrl click a selection of people and then drag them to the Sent
Items.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

I see. As you can see from the number of replies, Outlook provides several
ways to group and display recipients for easy selection that do not require
you to use cut and paste, including but not limited to:
1. Outlook Address Book
2. Autocompetion cache
3. Categories
4. Separate Contacts Folders.
