Crash bang !!
Ouitlook locks .. use end program to stop it .. new feature using xp it
invites one to compact on ending . . (chosen by mistake) . . Outlook closes On return Outlook has lost ALL my emails! Fantastic biy of software -- Jim Bunton

The invitation to compact on exit is for Outlook Express - what are you using? See Help-About if unsure.
