It appears that Outlook 2007 requires Windows Desktop Search 3.0 for instant
searching whereas WDS 2.6 is apparently the official release. I have installed and uninstalled WDS 3.0 a couple of times, and have tried stopping and restarting the indexing. A couple of times it indexed a few files, but then stalls. Now, it is stuck at 0/0, and attempts to stop and restart have failed. Any suggestions or links on how to index with WDS 3.0?
