Outlook 2003 Mail Merge
I have been happily doing a mailmerge using Outlook 2003 and Publisher 2003.
I went to do one the other day and started to have all kinds of problems. From Publisher when I choose "Use Outlook Contacts" I get a screen that says "Data Link Properties" and asks for all kinds of info - never had this before and was always able to do merge. When I hit ok - I get an error message: "This operation cannot be completed because of dialog or database engine failures. Please try again Later" I have tried all the Link settings, but nothing works - Keeps saying Publisher cannot open file. Very strange since I never had a problem before. I also have the same problem in Word - I have tried everything, nothing fixes it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Irene |

Message usually means that you no longer have an Outlook profile with a
valid mail transport designated as your default mail program. You made some changes somewhere. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Irene Gaffigan" wrote in message ... As I said, make sure your default mail program for your operating system
invokes an Outlook profile that has a valid mail transport. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Irene Gaffigan" wrote in message ... Thanks Russ, How do I fix it?
