Sending emails to multiple recipients
I have Outlook 2000. I've had this problem before where I've tried to send one email to multiple recipients and found that although the email is in my sent folder, no one ever recieves it. The advice I've recieved before was that it was my servers problem and not with Outlook. I've talked with great lengths to my server provider and could not find any problems on there side. I then had another problem where no emails could even be sent. Found that somehow outlook became corrupt so I deleted the account and re-entered it. I was able to send emails to multiple recipients for a short time and now it seems to be happening again. I can still send one email at a time just not to multiple recipients. Of cours not. They never do. Nonetheless, if the message enters the Sent Items folder, that's a fairly convincing sign that the ISP's server acepted the message. You should enable diagnostic logging and see whether or not the ISP's server is accepting the messages and, if so, you will have proof that your ISP's tech people are either lying to you or are incompetent. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/240347/en-us -- Brian Tillman |
