Error messages...
 

I am having problems with Outlook 2002.

I am trying to set up Outlook and get this message on a blank screen:
"Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the
specified folder location. Could not open the item. Try again." I'm also
experiencing this problem when I try to send/receive email. The only
exception it says (for all of my email accounts): "Could not open the item.
Try again".

I have 5 more email accounts I need to set up in Outlook.

I'm using Outlook 2002. IE7 (IE says version 7.0.5730.11), can't tell if
Beta or what...

Are you trying to set up your accounts using the Control Panel Mail Icon?

No, I am trying to set them up in Outlook by going to the Tools menu, then
clicking on E-mail accounts and following the steps. Even when I set it up
according to the directions, I am still getting these error messages.

I tried this and it still does not work. I still get the same error messages.

When I try to set up my Gmail accounts, it says that the return address is
not valid, but I typed it exactly how it appears on Gmail's instructions.

Are you using the correct ports? Authentication?

I have verified everything with the detailed instructions provided by Gmail,
as well as AOL.

All of the settings are correct, according to the instructions. I have even
removed all mail profiles and then added one and I still get the same errors.
