I have recently gotten a new computer, so all of my files were transferred.

In Outlook 2003, when I go to send an e-mail message, my contacts aren't
listed under the "Show Names from the" pulldown. However, if I go to the
Contacts tab, they are all there. I have checked and I do not have a cached
e-mail account. That is the only thing that I could see that would cause
that.

Any suggestions?

Right-click your Contacts folder, select Properties, and go to the
Outlook Address Book tab. Make sure the box is checked for "show this
folder as an e-mail address book."

The Outlook Address Book service often does not survive an upgrade or tranferred files. Go to Control Panel-Mail Icon-Accounts-Directories and Address Books-Change. If the Outlook Address Book service is not listed, back up one step and add it. Close and restart Outlook and you should be good to go.
