Criteria for folders assigned to a folder? Outlook 2007
Hello,
I have create some new data files (Forums.pst e.g.), and a "inbox" folder in each of this data files. Now I open my account seeting and assign one of this inbox folders with one of my acounts e.g.) I expected now that when I get a new mail throught this account ) the mail moves to this different inbox folder (Forums.pst=inbox). But this not work correct, most of the mails goes to the "normal" outlook.pst=inbox ("personal Folder"). What could be wrong? Which is the criteria for Outlook to COPY the Mails, or not? The other problem is that COPY, why Outlook copy the mail from outlook.pst=inbox to Forums.pst=inbox? I except that Outlook MOVE the mail. Yes, I can create some rules to move the Mails, but what's the sense of assign am account with an folder in this case? Peter |

Are these multiple accounts pulling from the same mailbox on the server (i.e., they use the same credentials to authenticate to the server) or do they examine separate mailboxes (i.e., separate usernames/passwords for each account when contacting the corresponding server)? -- Brian Tillman |

The accounts are all from my ISP, he offer 50 of them. But this are seperate accounts, not one account with 49 alias address. It's the same like have multiple Yahoo accounts. Peter |
