The slow typing thing started to happen again. It looks like changing to
'Internet' is only a temporary fix. I've switched to Plain Text till I have time to research this on the net further. Last time I looked someone was thinking it has something to do with an update, but haven't had time to follow up on it. When I go to type a new message in the message body there seems to be a huge delay from when I type something on my keyboard to when it shows on the screen. Typing in the subject area is fine, and even using the backspace key to delete characters operates as normal. Just typing new text in the message body area seems affected. What i've tried so far is archiving a bunch of my older messages and compacting the pst file. No luck. What can be causing this, and how can I fix it? Thanks! |

Uninstalling the May 8 XP update ending in "1768" has solved the problem, plus seems to have speeded things up in other areas.
