If I understand your problem, reboot and delete (or move) the unwanted file.
Then start Outlook and when it give you an error message that it can not find your file browse to the file you want to use. -- Neil "tim" wrote in message ... Hi Tim
your Outlook version is? In Outlook 2002-2007 under "File/Datafilemanagement" you can delete the PST file which is NOT your default folder. On this site you will get some additional information for "How to manage PST files in Outlook 2002 / 2003": http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070/en-us Maybe it helps. -- Oliver Vukovics Share your Outlook PST files without Exchange: Public ShareFolder Synchronisation for Outlook and Exchange: Public SyncTool http://www.publicshareware.com "tim" schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... Hi Tim,
a.) did you select the "Folderlist"? (Outlook Menu: Goto/Folderlist) What do you see know? One "Personal Folder" or more? If you see one "Personal Folder" do you see know the "Calendar" and "Contact" Folder? If yes: Are they empty or with your items? Please, give me some more details what you see. -- Oliver Vukovics Share your Outlook PST files without Exchange: Public ShareFolder Synchronisation for Outlook and Exchange: Public SyncTool http://www.publicshareware.com "tim" schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... The old PST should still be available. Add it to your mail profile. See if this helps: http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm -- Brian Tillman |

you can also rename the files - so rename your new outlook.pst file to
something totally different, then rename outlook1.pst to outlook.pst -- Laura Rooke MVP - Mobile Devices |

You can, but you shouldn't. Renaming a PST file will deeply confuse Outlook
and corrupt the profile. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Laura" wrote in message ... you can also rename the files - so rename your new outlook.pst file to something totally different, then rename outlook1.pst to outlook.pst -- Laura Rooke MVP - Mobile Devices |
