Good afternoon!
I wanted to ask a question to which I think I already know the answer (and all of my colleagues are coming up with the same answer). Q. When doing a search in Outlook 2003 and running in Cached Exchanged Mode the start of the search will be the day that the OST file was created. Is there any way to change this behavior (outside of removing the Cached Exchange Mode)? Thanks, Cary |

Diane,
Thanks. I was hoping for a nice pretty pill (in the form of a registry change that I have not been able to find....now I know why!) but will let my people know that the solution is to upgrade to Outlook 2007... Thanks again, Cary "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote in message ... no. but ol2007's instant search fixes it. :) -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: ** Please include your Outlook version, Account type, and Windows Version when requesting assistance ** "Cary W. I use Windows Desktop Search and MSN Search Toolbar
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/des...ault.mspx#wds2 I prefer the 2.6.6 version over the 3.01. It allows you to search multiple mailboxes using Outlook 2003. John "Cary W.
