Status Bar in Outlook not showing the status...!!!
 

Hi Friends,

I joined a new company recently in mumbai...i myself configured outlook to
my new id....but i dont see any status like "Connected" in the status bar on
outlook window.Please tell me how to enable this option..?

With no info on your configuration it is difficult. I am using Outlook 2007
in a single user environment. There is no status showing unless I put
Outlook in offline status and then that shows in lower right corner.

Hi Neil,

i am using MS-Outlook 2003, well are you sure that the status appears when
we keep the outlook in offline status?

In Outlook 2007 the lower right will show offline if you are offline, if not
offline nothing shows in that area. Also if you go to File menu then there
is an Offline shown and if checked you are offline
