... no body to post Since that is the default action (to poll for new messages) then what did you do to disable it? Go through the same steps in whatever unmentioned version of Outlook that you happen to be using to reenable what you disabled. Navigation through Outlook's menus will vary according to its version. Without knowing WHICH version of Outlook that you are using, the general help is to make sure the account is enabled in your mail poll settings and to ensure that mail polling is enabled to occur every N minutes (where N is 2, or more, with 5, 10, or 15 being more typical values depending on how fast you really need your e-mails versus how kind you wish to be to the mail server by eliminating superflous mail polls that would otherwise result in no new messages). By the way, the Subject header is a synopsis of what you put in the body of your post. You are expected to put something in the body and which provides details beyond what you can state in the short Subject line. If you post with an empty body then your post is considered blank so you haven't asked or stated anything, and blank posts are often ignored. Do you really think the Subject line really gave a good description of what you wanted to ask? |
