E-mail Account field has the wrong account in Outlook 2003/2007
This started as a problem with replying to messages: I have three pop3
email accounts setup in Outlook. Account #1 is set to be the default. For one of the accounts, #2, when I reply to a message received through that account the From account is listed as #1 instead of #2. This works properly for accounts #1 and #3. In looking for a solution to this I found a post that says to display the "E-mail Account" field to see which account Outlook has marked the original message as being received through because that is what it uses as the default from account when replying. Well, it turns out that incoming mail from account #2 is having it's E- mail Account field set to account #1. Why is this happening and how can I correct it? Why is this happening only to account #2 and not #3? All three of my email accounts are on different servers and domains. I have tried deleting and adding the accounts to no avail. I have re- installed Outlook on a clean install of Windows. I even have recently upgraded from 2003 to 2007 and still have the same issue. Thanks, Josh |
