Maximum practical Outlook 2007 .pst file size

I would like to ask basically the same question as recent post except I am
curious more about 2007. I too have seen pc's drag down with larger pst
files. The user I have currently has 8Gb in a single local pst file and the
pc is unreasonably slow. It's a very new machine so it shouldn't be
cluttered up with other stuff... But acting slower that slower pcs.
