How do you color an individual event in a reoccuring series, how?

IM using outlook 2007. I want to colour a one hour meeting a different colour
from the rest that are in a reoccuring series.
I am a teacher and have the class every week at the same time but want to
indicate that this particular week they will be sitting a test.

Allow me to clarify, you have a reoccuring meeting and on this reoccuring meeting you want to change the color on it for a specific time and date but leave all other dates the original color. If this is correct, then.

The color for an individual occurrence on series (reocccuring) meeting can not be change. Only the entire series.

If you want this particular time and date to be different color then try creating a separate re-occurring meeting to meet this need.

Kind Regard,
