My email won't send but stays in outbox
 

After writing an email, numerous attempts to send it are fruitless. It just
sits in my outbox. Anybody know whats going on with that?

There are many things that may interfere with mail delivery. One of them is
using an antivirus scanner on outgoing mail, which is pointless. If you
have an email scanner enabled, disable it and see if that makes a
difference.
