outlook 2007 problems
I just uploaded Microsoft Office Standard 2007 (Military Appreciation
Edition). When I try to open Outlook, a few weird things happened: - I was asked for a password to open pst 2 (I had not assigned one) - I got this too: cannot open your default e-mail folders. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists. I'm not on a network, so I'm not sure why this is happening. I'm running Windows XP, with 70G free and 512 RAM. I'm sending this by Outlook Express. Any ideas of how to render Outlook 2007 functional? Please advise. Thanks, R |

It sounds as if you may have specified an Exchange server when you set up OUTLOOK.

Try creating a new mail profile and configure it to use your current ..pst file.
