How do I see the color of the font my sender is using?

How do I see the color of the font my sender is using? When I ussed OE, I
could place the cursor in their message, click on the font, and THEIR color
would show up.

Now when I try to do that, it shows what I have entered as my default font
and color. How do I see the color of the font my sender is using?
