Out of memory or system resources. :-(
 

Again and agin, when I paste an entry from another calendar into Outlook
I get the error:

Out of memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and
try again.
------------------------

At that point the only "workaround" is to reboot. Before that Outlook
won't let me paste anything into it.
What could cause this and how can I fix it?

Office has its own clipboard. Have you tried cleaning it out yet?
You did not mention WHICH version of Outlook that you use. View the
MS Office clipboard in OL2002 by using the Edit - Office Clipboard.
Then click the Clear All button.

Otherwise, you could go read all the matches on KB articles at
Microsoft's huge support knowledgebase:

but selecting your actual product version would eliminate some of the
unrelated matches.
