Validation of Office
Hi...
Cannot fins a more suitable NG on this server. I have just last night fitted my new harddisk and furnished it with a clean install of MS Windows Vista Home Premium. The OS easily got activated. Then I installed Office Home and Student, and upgraded to Office Standard. During the startup of Outlook I'd got a validation request, which I went trough with flying colors. I got a message on screen telling me that my MS Office was activated. Then I went to download MS Outlook Connector, and my Office failed in the validation test. The error message read: Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007: Product Not Activated[0x80180101] But... I upgraded to Office Standard....?!? What can be wrong? All my software are legal? -- Zadig Galbaras (nick) www.tresfjording.com |

onenote. have you used it and activated it? It's in the home version but not
in standard and I know from experience the activation module is checking the activation of all installed office products. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Oyvind Granberg" wrote in message ...
