Validation of Office

Hi...

Cannot fins a more suitable NG on this server.

I have just last night fitted my new harddisk and furnished it with a clean
install of MS Windows Vista Home Premium.
The OS easily got activated.

Then I installed Office Home and Student, and upgraded to Office Standard.

During the startup of Outlook I'd got a validation request, which I went
trough with flying colors.
I got a message on screen telling me that my MS Office was activated.

Then I went to download MS Outlook Connector, and my Office failed in the
validation test.

The error message read:
Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007: Product Not Activated[0x80180101]

But... I upgraded to Office Standard....?!?

What can be wrong?
All my software are legal?

Validation of Office

have you opened the other ofice apps - that ones that come in home and
student - to verify they are activated? the upgrade did not remove the first
ones installed.

Validation of Office

I have started both Word and Excel and in the Help menu's About option it is
stated that they are a part of the MS Office Standard 2007.

Validation of Office

onenote. have you used it and activated it? It's in the home version but not
in standard and I know from experience the activation module is checking the
activation of all installed office products.
