Outlook 2003
After deleting an email, I normally can move the email from the Deleted Items folder back to my Inbox. Or after deleting, I can Undo and it restores the email back to its original folder. Now, for some unknown reason, the Deleted Items folder will not let go of emails. I tried moving, clicking and dragging, and undoing, but they are stuck in the Deleted Items folder. All I can do to survive is copy them back. Any solution to this? |

Good question, Diane. They're fairly small compared to the usual.
Typically my boxes are many times the size they are now without issues. I have in the past even hit the proverbial 2GB pst limit, and Outlook slapped me around for it. But I archived since then and reduced the item size of each box. Anyway, the issue is worked out. I did a reboot and it released the deleted stranglehold. (Reboot to the rescue again? g). Thanks for answering my call for help anyway. I have the same issue, but a reboot does not resolve the matter. My
PST file is about 1GB in size. Outlook 2007 with the latest patches applied does not allow me to move deleted messages back to the Inbox, but I can do a copy of the deleted email message and have the cope placed in the Inbox. Why can't I just move the message directly anymore?
