No. of Items in Inbox
 

In Outlook, I'm not using the preview screen and I don't see at a glance the
number of items in my Inbox or Sent items box, etc. I know that is a feature
in Outlook Express. Is it something that can be activated on Outlook?

Click ViewStatus Bar, then select a folder. The number of items should
appear at the bottom of Outlook.

I tried that, but the number of items is not shown! The only thing at the
bottom is a box entitled My Shortcuts and one entitled Other Shortcuts.

Just re-checked it one more time and "Lo and behold" the number of items is
now showing up. Thanks! No idea why the change was delayed, but at least it's
there now!
