Outlook 2007 Spell Check Oddity
In Outlook 2007, when I run a spell check on an email message, the
"Add to Dictionary" button is grayed out. Same thing in Word. Has anyone else had this issue? I do have a custom dictionary defined (custom.dic). Thanks, Ross |
Outlook 2007 Spell Check Oddity
Where is the custom.dic? Does outlook have write permission to it?
Go to the spelling dialog - select your Custom.dic, then click Modify. If you cant modify it, then it means it has been corrupted. you can open and browse it, looking for corrupt entries, or rename it and make a new one. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
