Default Autodiscover

I am getting pop-up alerts in Outlook for autodiscover the message is as
follows:

Allow this website to configure server settings?

/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml?ddddddddd etc

Allow cancel etc.

When I check Don't ask me about this website again it does not save this
preference.

I am used to seeing this same warning however it generally has a domain
like:
https://domain.com/autodiscover/...

Why would I be getting this message without a domain and why does it not
save the preference not to show the message again?

Thanks!

-Ian

Why do you permit scripts to run inside of HTML-formatted e-mails that
are rendered within Outlook? In the security options, make sure you are
using the Restricted Sites security zone.

Or does the popup occur even when you don't read an e-mail? If so, have
you tried loading Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe") which
will NOT load any add-ons that you installed in Outlook? Maybe an
add-on is generating the popup.

It's a legit dialog from outlook 2007. See
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...EXCHG.80).aspx

How Using a Single SSL Certificate with Redirection Works
After you configure Exchange to use an SSL certificate with redirection,
clients that are not domain joined and clients that do not have direct
connectivity to Active Directory receive a redirect from the Autodiscover
site to the site that is dedicated to handling e-mail. When this occurs, a
warning message is displayed in Outlook 2007 that says Allow this website to
configure server settings? Outlook 2007 enables users to turn off the option
for this warning message to continue to appear. We recommend that you inform
your users to turn off the warning message on their Outlook 2007 client.

The reason it comes up without a domain is because the admin didn't
configure the server correctly. It's hard to say why the don't show option
fails since I'm not sure where it saves the option (in the pont_string key
with other 'don't show' choices or elsewhere).
