Outlook Stalling on Send/Receive
 

I have been narrowing down a problem where Outlook 2007 SP1 gets stuck at
send/receive 95%. It seems mail comes and goes, but the progress meter and
icon get stuck.

With logging on:
Progress Window: Task 'Microsoft Exchange' reported error (0x80040107) :
'Could not open the item. Try Again.'
OPMLog.log - No messages are logged while indicator is stuck - Last item is
Microsoft Exchange: Synch operation completed
outlook.ost.log - No messages ( i had some Doc Not Found errors, but turned
off indexing to assist)

I am not sure where to go from here. It hangs for about 10 minutes and
gives the progress error above. It seems to have started after some of the
latest Vista patches. I have run in safe mode, disabled all anti-virus and
3rd party add-ins... No result.

Do I need to reinstall or is there something else I can look at?
