I recently migrated from Outlook Express to Outlook 2007. All went well
except for some reason every time I send a message there is a copy of that item in my inbox as well as the sent item folder (and of course to the recipient). I obviously don't want that message back in my inbox. How do I keep this from happening? |

Do you have any rules set up on outgoing messages?

Just tried safe mode and the problem still exists.
My requirements are simple. All I want is incoming mail to be forwarded to either my wife's inbox or mine based on who its addressed to. I did this in Outlook Express and didn't have this problem. Are you using Rules are actually forwarding the messages? If rules, do you
have stop processing set? Is it a 'catch all' account or do you each have your own username and passwords? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. I'm using Rules to move incoming e-mail to their respective inboxes.
Stop processing? Unfortunately, I do not know what that is. Each account has its own username and password. "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Are you using Rules are actually forwarding the messages? Stop processing is an action in rules wizard. The rule should read ' move
message and stop processing' -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
