I have XP Home and the languages options in the Control Panel do not give me the choice I want. Besides, I have a feeling that my original messages explaining my 'problem' were not well understood. your problem: you see dates as Oct 20, Oct 21 etc and want to see them as
Mon Oct 20, Tues Oct 21, right? You mean the long date format you want is not available? It doesn't matter - you can type in the format you want.
