either outlook isn't closing cleanly or the profile is corrupt.
Make sure Outlook is not listed in Task Manager, Processes tab a few minutes after you close it. If it is, figure out why it's running. See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/close.asp. if its not running, you can try deleting the XML file that stores the favorites (start menu, run, type outlook.exe /resetnavpane) - if that doesn't work, you'll need a new profile. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
