Greetings,
I cannot save a picture or graphic that is sent to me in an email in Outlook 2007. I used to be able to click on a picture emailed to me and a dialog box opened that allowed me to save the picture or graphic in My Pictures. Now when I click on the picture or graphic I get a dialog box that allows me to copy the picture. When I was able to save the picture the usual navigation in Windows allowed me to save the picture or graphic in a folder in My Pictures. How can I solve this situation so I can continue to save a picture or graphic in Outlook 2007. I have all of the updates to Office 2007 that have been offered. Thanks in advance for your help and considerations. Leigh |

Try pasting into your favorite image-handling software, like IrfanView or Picture Maker and then saving from there. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

I was not able to paste it into IrfanView. Sometime ago I was able to click on the pictures sent to me in Outlook 2007. However, I am no longer able to do that in 2007. Was there a security patch that disallows this function? In Outlook 2003 I can click on the picture and a the a dialog box opens that allows me to save a picture and put it into a folder in My Pictures. I have looked in the Options section of Outlook 2007 and cannot find anything related to pictures. I have used Outlook 2007 help and I cannot find anything about saving a picture that is included into the text of the email. This is turning into a mystery. People send lots of email to me with pictures included in the text and I can no longer save them. I am still searching for a way to save these pictures. Leigh |

Leigh,
Has this been resolved yet. I am having the exact same issue. My company is rolling out Office 2007 and I know if this is a new "feature" we will be going back to 2003.
