The behavior you see is normal - Outlook generally takes as much free ram as
it needs and releases it when minimized. The size of the pst (should not use offline stores with terminal server) or mailbox doesn't matter - mine's over 2GB and I'm using 122 megs ram right now (Outlook 2007). It should not cause problems on the server, unless you have it overloaded. I'm not aware of any setting on the exchange server you can set to change this behavior - but you should be using classic mode, not cached, to avoid filling the terminal server drive with user data. If there is not 150 megs available, outlook will take what it can get. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
