.pst file maxed out
So I should have been using autoarchive.
So I should have know there was a limit to the .pst file size. But now I have a whole section of outlook that is completely locked up. I cannot delete anything to reduce the file size. What now? Is Outlook totally useless to me? No way of repairing? Reversing? No forgiveness? Jan |

Outlook will work - rename the old pst and make a new one.
To recover the data in the old pst, see http://www.slipstick.com/problems/repair2gbpst.asp http://www.slipstick.com/problems/scanpst.asp -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
